You thoroughly discuss your health history and current symptoms with your licensed Acupuncturist.
You lie down comfortably on the table while your Acupuncturist looks at the color of your tongue and checks your wrist pulses for Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostics.
Your Acupuncturist provides a Treatment Plan for you, including a recommendation of how many Acupuncture visits you will need. Chinese Herbal Medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle factors may also be recommended.
Your Acupuncturist explains how Acupuncture works and what to expect with needle insertion.
Your Acupuncturist uses Clean Needle Technique. Alcohol swabs are used on each acupuncture point and sterile stainless steel needles are inserted using a guide tube. When each needle is removed, it is placed in a medical biohazard container per FDA regulations. All needles are single-use only in the USA.
Needles are retained for 20 minutes while you relax on the table.
Please arrive well-hydrated in our dry, high-altitude climate. Consider wearing comfortable loose clothing.
